New series of The Thread by Ozy...all about female empowerment, Gloria Steinem, Marilyn Monroe. Fascinating stuff.

What an absolute rapist scumbag Clark Gable was eh? Never look at Gone With The Wind in the same way.

Top Flight Time Machine, featuring Andy Dawson from Athletico Mince and Sam Delaney. First episode wasn't as good as the subsequent ones but its really very good. Each episode is a review of a Prem season.

Listened to episode 4 today which was the 94/95 season. Episode 3 has been the standout episode so far...

Amazing how all the events they discuss seem just like yesterday.

Dear Joan & Jericho. Hilarious and very rude mock agony aunt podcast by Julia Davis & Vicky Pepperdine.

The Slow Burn podcasts on Watergate were very good.

That led me to the RFK Tapes, which were about the assassination of Bobby Kennedy which were interesting but at times a bit too, er, interesting.

Now on Series 2 of Slow Burn, which is about the Clinton impeachment.

Am looking forward to Series 3.

Started Jon Ronson's The Butterfly Effect...all about internet porn. Fascinating stuff - apparently the peak time for porn use is Monday mornings and female "artistes" struggle to get simple bank accounts as the bank managers (probably) think they're not fit to hold one, despite (probably) tugging themselves off in the works bathroom on a monday morning.

Listening to the follow up of this, The Last Days of August, featuring on the unexpected suicide of 23yr old porn actress August Ames. It was originally thought that she topped herself due to the abuse she got on Twitter due to a debatable tweet that she posted but when Ronson looks into it, there's far more to due with her upbringing, her **** father, her attraction to men who, like her father, are absolute oxygen thieves and the entire toxic atmosphere of the US porn "family". Fascinating, a little bit fruity (obviously) but a great listen.

S3 of Serial dealing with individual crimes & trials from Cleveland. Shows the bias on the poor white and black against the wealthy white who can get off with literally murder whilst the poor go through hell for nothing crimes like nothing more than an accidental punch on a policeman in a drunken bar fight.

Listened to both of those, thought they were both really good.

I also listen to Stuff You Should Know, Part-time Genius [those two aren't series based] and American Scandal to name a few. Vowed not to listen to another episode of Business Wars until they bring back the Bad Boy Records vs Deathrow Records series.

The first series of American Scandal called BALCO is well worth a listen seeing as we're all sports fans here.

The latest episode of True Geordie Podcast, for those of the tin hat brigade it’s a must listen. David Icke talks about everything conspiracy theory. It’s over 3 hrs long but a good listen if you enjoy a good conspiracy theory.

13 minutes to the moon on the BBC.

Series 1 - Apollo 11
Series 2 - Apollo 13

Fascinating if you are a space geek like me.

Currently listening to a massive 7 hour multi-episode run on The Black Death by Last Podcast on the Left. Incredible, it went from anti-semitism, to the Bishop of Shrewsbury, Pope Clement VI, the Flagellants etc
