I don't think there's enough people looking int eh SZFC clubhouse so I'll mention here as well that I'm third in the Betfait daily poker tournament with only 6 left in. If I somehow double up my chips, I have a shot at 1.8k

And this is my first multi-table tournament!

Young Philip successfully converted his win. The SZFC boys eagerly anticipate the next team night out.... :D

I spent 5 hours yesterday to finish second in a tourney (Kev finished 7th), could have won it but ran out of time so had to stand up, boo!

Damn smileys won't work so I'll have to put text.

Can't believe it, one guy was on 100k chips for ages and he should have sown it up earlier on but he went all cautious in the last 20 and I managed to catch him by the final table.

So glad the wireless from next door held out and I'm severely tempted to share the wealth with them because of it!

Jeez. That must have been a pretty large field! Im guessing the top prize was 30% of the prizepool so if it was a $20 entry?! then around 500 people or so!? I did download BF earlier this week so might have to give it a bash. What time tourny was it!?

Apparently it's a daily. It started at about 8 but wasn't done til gone 2 so be prepared to have to sit down for a bit of time. The initial table was fairly poor quality but the final round had 105 in

Good win mate. Must say i have never played on that site tend frequent Poker.com these days.

i gave up on Laddies about a year ago though success rate was good a lot of mtt wins and placings, but they changes the touney times and things really did put me off, but i will be back for this week.

I guess my best win was on poker.com, i managed get past satellites and into the final of the Australian Open qualifier in a field of just over 2000 and seven hours later won $11500 trip to australia with $5500 buy in to the aussie open.

Best advice to give? this would be, strange as it sounds, the person who loses the least chips usually beats the the guy who wins more.

Makes no sense typed but is very true

In my second place finish yesterday I didn't even play the first 45 minutes as visitors turned up. Had I played that part I doubt I'd have finished 2nd!

I reckon i'd probably agree with that. There's not a lot of point making any big moves until people have something to lose either. As soon as there was something up for grabs, being short-stacked suddenly came in handy.
