Browne 1 x WK & 1 x bat & 1 x stamina - or better still sell and buy someone with stamina!
Tapp 1 x bat & 1 x bowl
Khotsofalang 1 x bowl
Welsh 1 x bowl (if its a type of bowling you particularly want, if not sell and give Tapp a fielding net)

Sell O'Neill.

Ta Matt. That looks good to me.

Good week for Raven with a pop in batt & bowl!

Battrick Rating: 21,590

Our league sledging is pretty active and the Goodison manager does weekly predictions, quality write up this week:

Goodison v Botham’s Legacy
Shellshocked at Friday’s dramatic West Ham style collapse, Goodison will badly be in need of some net time to restore their battered confidence. With Shrimper coming up next though, it’ll need more than a big home win here to settle the frayed nerves. Home Win

Essex Javelins v Shrimper Zone
There’s a bit at the end of the movie ‘The Princess Bride’ where the Spanish sword fighter comes up against the evil prince who killed his father. He drops into a mantra of repeating ‘Hello, My Name is Inigo Montoya; you killed my father – prepare to die’. Much in the same way on Friday Essex will be listening to ‘Hello, My name is Brock of the Shrimper Zone; you wrecked my season – prepare to lose’ coming from the away dressing room.
It matters not; Essex are on the high of highs after giving Goodison a skanking in their own backyard and won’t be listening to any such nonsense. Shrimper, meanwhile, has just the ****nal to beat Essex: the two strike bowlers that are good enough to remove Maylett and if they do it’s Southend showtime. Want to know the result? Then watch the movie, dubnuts.

Lanson Dream XI v French Foreign Legion
The dream is turning into a bit of a ‘mare for Lanson, who needs to start winning these games in the second half of the season if he wants to stay in the league. Last week his top order, usually the saviour, fell apart like a damp squib and there was little below to save him. It’s time for Lanson to put up if he wants to stay up, and what better an opportunity than hosting FFL, who you had to feel for last week when they couldn’t get past Third Floor’s two decent players. He’s going to need to say something strong to his strike bowlers if he wants to get rid of Lanson’s top 3 on a flat pitch. Home Win

Zippys Headcases v Third Floor Ponderers
Um I dunno. Third Floor won last time, so, knowing my accuracy in predicting things, Zippy will win this time. Home Win.

It's going to be a big game this week!

I missed out on 3 pops I was due today, so not much going on although next week should now be a monster

Had a result with my "profit" trainee, who I bought for 289k on Friday

Phillip Brinkhuys (468774)
RH Batsman, LH Spin Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A steady player with mediocre leadership skills and woeful experience.

Plays For: BATTY SHRIMPERS
Nationality: England
Age: 20 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 12,507 (+26)
Wages: £1,483 p/w

Stamina: woeful Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: woeful Concentration: abysmal
Bowling: respectable Consistency: strong
Fielding: worthless

He will now be Feeble Stamina when I come to sell him in 6 weeks. Shame O'connor missed his pop this week as Brinkhuys needs his bowling net, but I think that he is close enough that it won't matter too much. With a bit of luck he'll pop in Cons as well before I come to sell him.

Steven Blackbourn (530133)
LH Batsman, LM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A destructive player with respectable leadership skills and woeful experience.

Plays For: BATTY SHRIMPERS
Nationality: New Zealand
Age: 20 Years Old

Bowling: quality Consistency: strong
Fielding: mediocre

He just keeps popping and popping!

Tee hee! Nick's all rounder got called up to the SA U-19 squad, made his debut today and got carted for 80 runs. Could be a short international career!

how much would you boys pay for my new kid on the block...

6. Daniel Gerber - 17 yo, BT Rating=10,375
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A cautious player with superb leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: proficient Concentration: respectable
Bowling: worthless Consistency: feeble
Fielding: abysmal

:D

Not sure what everyone else has found, but I wondered if the transfer prices were calming down a bit. Just bought this guy as another trainee for £3000

Matt Gwynne (1146873)
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, respectable batting form, respectable bowling form, lively
A defensive player with feeble leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Plays For: Crabbys Catchers
Nationality: England
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 4,263
Wages: £643 p/w

Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: mediocre Concentration: worthless
Bowling: competent Consistency: woeful
Fielding: worthless

I know his consistency isn't great, but he's got a bit of batting ability and good stamina. I also reckon he's close to popping in bowling looking at his wages.

Good signing, could probably turn a quick profit on him if you wanted to.
