... into the Championship. A great new era upon us. We have just had two seasons that reaped more than any serious person dared to dream and now even more glory. So a few players have gone. Jupp has been a fine servant as too has Bentley. Normally I would bemoan the loss and yet strangely it makes me feel more confident. If they were offered less than acceptable contracts it must mean Tilly and co thought that these two were expendable and not main players in the Championship. Tilly must be looking at better. The gaffer must have believed we can survive well enough without them and if Tilly believes after all he has delivered then I believe too. COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!

My Heart is saying "Championship? Cool!"

But unfortunately, (and especially with people leaving and no one in yet)......

My Stomach feels like it did in the 2 seconds that Oblivion hovered over the vertical drop before it plunged.....

Roll on August, this is too much for me.

Can't wait for the new season to start. Whatever happens, it'll be great. I still don't believe it deep down!

I'm staunchly refusing to feel bad about anything Southend related until we've finished our summer signings. In the mean time, I keep making bullish comments to Championship supporting friends. Great fun but you need to remember to tone it downa bit when the season gets closer!!

For not giving juppy first team football next season tilly must have a right back on his short list. Plus it shows that they want to play football and not sit just on the bench and get paid for it. Is Jon Otsemobor still available?

Hope they both do well next season.
