The Premiership have withdrawn funding from SD over a couple of Tweets made in May by the then Chief Exec. Dave Boyle.

Whilst the Tweets were offensive and aimed at Franchise FC and Winkleman in particular, after AFC Wimbledon secured Promotion to the Football League, the Premiership are using this as an excuse to withdraw the vital funding needed for SD to continue their work.

The Shrimpers Trust were given advice by SD and their legal department during the recent problems the Club had regarding Administration etc. and a grant was given to us by SD to help set up the Trust in the early days as were the majority of Trusts throughout Football, and when you look at the likes of Exeter City (100% Trust Owned) and Swansea City (partially Trust Owned), it shows how important SD is, especially to the Football League Clubs and Supporters.

There will be a debate on Radio 5 Live from 11am today, and further details about the SD has my support campaign can be found here.

Click here to read an in depth article on twohundredpercent which explains the issue in far greater detail.

The SD Website can be found here.
