Prince Phillip Final Offical Duty

Saw the BBC this morning fawning over him, dismissing his racism as "robust behaviour".

Might've well as just said it was some 'epic bantz' and be done with it.

Like some of his comments over the years, is the thread title just a little over the top for a 96 year old man who's very much alive, just saying.

A life time of service, hopefully he will be able to enjoy retirement now.

why?! Why aren't you allowed to talk about people you don't like?!

Was that the reasoning behind starting the thread? You know, just asking in case I need to apoligise and ask for the thread title to be changed slightly. Something like Lets All Hate The Royals or I Hope A 96year Old Kicks The Bucket Soon, something along those lines.

We are not all royalists you know. Once the Queen finally pops off we can become a republic, recoup a large amount of money and live off tourist revenue for many generations

William has no desire to be a King apparently, though he'll probably be forced into it.

When all is weighed up, military active duty, loyal consort, tireless crowd and charity worker etc I believe, IMO, that HRH Duke of Edinburgh IS a jolly good fellow and I hope he stays around to get a telegram from Mrs HRH.
