Some crackers there. Although it's a nice one to believe, Ian Rush didn't actually say that living in Italy was like living in a foreign country. It was a comment attributed to Rush by a member of the Liverpool staff (Joe Fagan?) apparently as a joke.

You could write a book with the crap that comes out of Jason McAteer's mouth by all accounts...

"From now on, I want to be known as Captain Sensible. I'm known for being a fool and they called me Trigger. I once bought a pizza and was asked if I wanted it sliced into four or eight. I said just four because I couldn't manage eight slices!"

He once wrote on a credit card application form, under the Position in Company box: Right midfield, but the manager is playing me Right back at the moment.

He once went for breakfast with Gary Mac, and when Gary Mac asked him to pass the ketchup, Jasons response was "Red or Brown?"

One morning Jason, Ruddock and Mcmannaman were locked out of a car on the way to training with the window slightly down. Ruddock turned to Jason and went "Go inside and get us a coathanger, we can get in here"...

MacAteer returns with a wooden hanger.

are they all david beckham, no just most of them
