I don't want to get into a childish "my brother is bigger than your brother" type debate, but when there is statistical evidence, it would only be right to share it with you :winking:

Good find, although I think it was mentioned before that we've spent more time in the 2nd and 3rd tier of the football league than them. Add to that our attendance figures nearly always being double theirs.

Bigger than Wigan and MK Dons too.

Well MK Dons are only 9 years old. I think Wimbledon's successes in the 80s and 90s have counted towards AFC Wimbledon's score as we're level with them.

Everyone knows we're bigger than Col U and always will be. I was a bit surprised that Everton and Aston Villa are above Chelsea and Spurs.

Spurs have only ever won the league twice, while Chelsea had barely won a thing before the late 90s. Villa and Everton have both won bundles, albeit their successes are starting to feel like a very long time ago.

66th feels about right for us; lower end of the third tier.

Mid-table League One is where we should be. Once we've got our beautiful new stadium we should be mid-table in the Championship..... or on the way to extinction.

History counts for nothing when it comes to a clubs current size.

For me its the amount of supporters and the financial strength of the club. In the old days this would have been the financial income the club can make, not its been warped by the sugar daddies pouring money in.

We are certainly bigger than the likes of Col U and Leyton Orient, and used to dwarf Wigan too when they used to get under 2,000 through the gates, but now they have grown bigger. Question is if we were both in the same division who would bring in more supporters, reckon it may be close.

I agree with you, we do get more support than both Colchester and Orient but with Orient they have all of the big London clubs to compete with and despite this the gates are not much below ours.
Won't be no away support tomorrow to speak of so I wonder how many will "pour" through the gates.
