Save our Southend Protest Confirmed

The club and ground need to be separated from the property empire/****show. Ron can have his loot there if there is any left...
no one will want to own or invest in a club that pays rent to some slumlord ..
if Ron wants to continue to own sufc post the slum development, then it must be as a seperate entity , club, ground facilities.. other wise the whole exercise is fairly pointless .
A fair point but referring to RM as you have there is that libellous? Maybe worth checking that lol

very best of luck with the protest

i remain convinced the best way forward is a properly constituted supporters organisation wih the declared aim of taking control of SUFC .
The closest you have to that as it stands is the Shrimpers Trust, they have always pushed for board representation, not the same thing granted

Is the idea of a pub crawl before the protest still on? If so, what time will it start, and where from?

I was undecided about attending the protest but a pub crawl could swing it. Additionally, friends have persuaded me that if we were to attend, we may be able to get some publicity for our recently formed "Senior Lives Matter" group.

I am sure the trust does great work but representation is meaningless .. power only comes with ownership and fans ownership is the most frightening for RM .. (and all club owners).

It also the best solution for others interested parties like the council and the EFL/FA etc.

Should the club go into administration the administrators are generally really happy to get rid of the club to a fans organisation
