Save our Southend Questions and outlines sent to RM

Q......With Brown admitting to being approached earlier in the season to take the managerial role, wouldnt funds have been better ring fenced on lifting the embargo, which in my opinion is a major factor for our impending relegation ? Was SUFC witholding funds to release the embargo, to help persuade Phil Brown to the fold ?
Will Mr Martin admit our biggest downfall was not giving the new manager (MM) sufficient funds to build a new squad, especially in the light of last term's relegation from League One and instead, having his hands tied by not being allowed to play new transfers, even though they were waiting in the wings?
Will Mr Martin admit the combination of transfer embargo, non payments, late payments to staff, all colluded to our downfall in 20/21 ?

Might I suggest that questions are posted here prior to being sent to Ron?

There are a lot of smart people on here who could assist in formatting and editing before they are sent to ensure the right things are being asked.

It's important to remember, hard as it is, to take any emotion out of the document sent to the chairman and keep it focused.
Good point. Taking out any emotion is vital if we are to get a clear response. This would also apply to questions put to him in any face to face meetings. In fact, it may be worth considering, hiring someone skilled in the art of questioning. It would be difficult for any of us to do it without showing emotion.

Agreed. There are one or 2 of us in communication roles in our day jobs.

Appreciate all the hard work that has gone into this, but it's clear that should these Q&A's continue, they need to be clear, concise and focused. (at least on the fans side)

I would just like you to be aware that many of us "Shrimpers" are very grateful for what you and your committee are embarking upon. These things can be incredibly time consuming and you will no doubt get a great deal of advice, however just do what you think is right.........and again "Thank you"

any response or acknowledgment from RM?

I agree with the comments that by avoiding making things 'personal' you don't give RM the opportunity to drift into that in his response (which he undoubtedly will, he'll try and speak 'honestly' without actually saying something of actual consequence)
