First thing you need to do is take the diploma as it gives you extra cash. Next thing is to hire a passable coach with poor leadership, should cost about £53,000.

Not sure what you mean by those numbers up there though!

Actually, I think that's what you were doing anyway, Hattrick Manager Licence challenge, just follow the 24 (?) challenges and you'll earn money as you go.

Ive just realised im from greater manchester supposedly,

A) Does that affect what league i go into?

B) Is everyone from different regions on here or all from Essex/Southend region?

C) Are cups affected by what region you are in?

Train 100% intensity.

Fire your youth player as he is no good. Better luck next week.

You can only re-name your team during the close-season, but its not really worth doing it as it costs you 10% of your fans or something.

The second most important thing to do* is get a decent coach - eg passable (and later when you can afford it, solid) and a training regime.

Choose a discipline to train (eg defending for defenders, play-making for midfielders) and then set your formation to play to that strength so if you are training strikers play 3-4-3 rather than 4-4-2 or if you train midfielders play 3-5-2.



*First most important thing to do is read the rules, then re-read them and then read then once more for luck. Any queries with the rules feel free to ask, but the game is a lot, lot easier once you understand them.

Get rid of your coach and get a Passable with Poor leadership for 50K as a Solid with Poor is nearly 180K unless you can afford it (I thought they were chaper than that when we all started).

I have a question - how important is leadership in training? Does it have any relevance to training times, or team spirit, or anything??

Training is only affected by age & caoch skill muse
FF if he is better than one or both of your keepers he is fine to start with.
