R.I.P Joe Frazier

Load of great fighters in that era. I'm a big fan of Ernie Sheavers (hardest puncher), and Ken Norton, who also beat Ali, and also appeared in the A-Team....

The hook that took Muhammad Ali off his feet at Madison Square Garden in '71 was a beauty. I was upset about that at the time as I wanted Ali to win - but Joe certainly deserved to win that fight and he was of course the first man to beat the 'Louisville Lip.' He did well to come back after the repeated knock-downs from George Foreman a couple of years later and the 'Thrilla In Manila' was one of the most exhausting fights ever. And that was just watching it. A very brave man and a great champ. RIP Smokin' Joe.
