I had a swelling when I woke up this morning but am happy to report it has gone down significantly now.

Hmmmm! I had a similar issue when the third goal went in last night. I only hope it occurs more often than Southend score three ��

They always swell up overnight don't they? Hopefully he won't be out long if it's just a sprain. I guess we'll hear today

Often the swelling is the body's way of protecting the actual injury...best not to rush him back...he was a welcome addition up until the injury.

Seen plenty of sprains like that......tough one though as sometimes soft tissue injuries are worse than small fractures.

Unfortunately this...I sprained my ankle 3 weeks ago and it's still bothering me. Hopefully it's not a bad one though.

When I sprained mine it was 12 weeks out! Apparently a break heals quicker.

Mrs JD says fractured lateral malleolus. 6 weeks in a cast or boot and 10-12 weeks after that........

PS she hates football so hopefully she's being horrible!
