5 teams on 40 points at the bottom of the table. Torquay, Aldershot, Barnet, Accrington and Plymouth. Our record against them as below;

Torquay: W1 D1 PTS 4/6
Accrington D1 L1 PTS 1/6
Plymouth D1 PTS 1/3
Aldershot L1 PTS 0/3
York D1 PTS 1/3
Barnet L1 D1 PTS 1/6

We have Plymouth, Aldershot and York to play again. But that makes grim reading when you consider that we should be looking to get at least 3/6 against these teams.

Shocking Stats ..... Need to attack these bad teams + pummel them rather than sit back + give them confidence against us.
It basically proves that we are not mentally prepared to win these games yet we can compete very well against teams at the top.... Need to be ruthless + take more chances going forward.

no matter who has played in the blue strip over the years i have been watching we always seem to lower our standards to the opposition, and become sloppy instead of showing our class.

very frustrating

Agreed: always styruggle against the lower teams especially at home when their midfield plays deep and usually 5 across the park. We never seem to get over a 4-5-1 or similar set up.

Our main problem against the lower teams is they battle for every ball and we haven't got anybody in the midfield that can dominate a game. We have got players that are great on the ball but I feel we need somebody that can win 40-60 tackles whereas at the moment we struggle to win 50-50 ones.
