Tonight, at 7:30pm we play our next qualifying round of the FA Youth Cup attempting to get to the round we always used to start in.
The appointed referee for this match is Dumitru-Gheorghe Vasile from Witham - a Level 4 who referees at non-league Step 5.
Assisting him will be Gary Telling from Southend-on-Sea and Anthony Abbs from Billericay. Both Level 5s.
No Fourth Officials are appointed until the League teams join the competition.
I post this not under any illusion that anyone is remotely interested in who will be officiating this match, but more as a reminder that it's taking place. They are normally good value. An opportunity to go to Roots Hall with no banners, no pitch invasions or protests - just a football match !!!
