Change of subject but where is generally considered to be the best restaurant in Southend these days? Never liked the Boatyard much....
 
Boatyard is just a cushti location not amazing food.

Mk shrimper im in milton keynes next weekend. Can you recomend anywhere near the city centre thats of good fair and reasonably priced for me and mrs?

Go up to Stony Stratford and go in the Co ck Inn. Cracking food.

Alternatively Jaipur Indian Restaurant near the station has won awards for it's curries but it's a lil' bit pricey.

Usual suspects in the Theatre District, Taipan is a nice place for Chinese.

I have never eaten there but I would imagine trading standards would have shut down the 'Popular Restaurant' in Leigh a long time ago if it wasn't any good.
