Retained List Announced.

Sounds like Dieng isn’t staying according to CP.
Probably to be expected, he can get a league club. Not a good one but he'll get a league club.

He was a bit of a jack of all trades but would never be first place in any position really

They're hardly in a bargaining position, and PB knows it. It's whether PB can source better players elsewhere that will suffer those wages ?

There lies the riff, the players could be asking more than what they are worth, players who we might want to keep and they end up going. Not saying it’s a bad thing but we could be a few quality players down that won’t get replaced. The wage budget needs to be handled with care.

id love to know where these ‘few quality players’ have been hiding for the last couple of seasons.

if any of them don’t like the terms we’re offering, they can go and accept more money elsewhere.

when you say suffer those wages, we ran the fifth highest wage bill in league one and it was well documented. What do you have against the club trying to operate some sort of budget?

That wasn't a dig at the club's wage structure. I was refering to Non League wages, which I suspect would be lower than what they're used to.
