RIP Nobby Stiles, one of the most under rated British players ever
Does not matter if its England or Manchester United, underrated.
If you talk to a German(i live here),that remembers that final and ask about a player they remember that played, its not Mooro or even "our kid"..its no teeth Nobby
RIP..the boys of "66" and now Nobby

Seemed he had been in very poor health in recent years but still very sad.
Now only four of 1966 final starting line up still with us.

I know I’ll get grief..is he Southend United related? Should be in general football section?

ps, my namesake, people often call me nobby styles

Crikey, Bobby Charlton and Nobby Stiles at the Hall. Two 1966 legends. How many others from that World Cup winning team played at the Hall I wonder.....?

Ray Wilson maybe for Oldham on 21st March 1970 But I can't find the Oldham line up for that day.

Webster getting nowhere near a set piece. According to some on here, all goal keepers caught everything up until Bentley was picked.

Also a Southend goal from open play, something Martins marvels haven't achieved in 6 hours of play, wow a treat.
