RIP-Ray Bradbury

Not sure if I've read any Bradbury - used to read a load of my older brother's sci-fi back in the day so it all blurs into one, but RIP indeed.

I read the Illustrated Man when about 13, I can still remember a couple of stories. 451 is, IMO, one of those book everyone should read.

I loved the Martian Chronicles - an allegory of the settlers' treatment of the native Americans and the deaths of the latter as a result of the diseases brought on the ships. Clever stuff. RIP Ray.

Agreed and both film versions are also excellent too.Especially François Truffaut's Farenheit 451 but Rod Steiger is also brillant as The Illustrated Man.

When I was younger I bought three bottles of Fahrenheit 451 for a fiver from Roots Hall market and I never pulled once while wearing it.

I don't see what all the fuss is about.
