Surprised no-one else had started a thread, felt he was deserving of his own one. One of the all time greats, renowned journalist, reporter, satirist and presenter. RIP Sir David.

Very appropriate and ironic timing though.

TW3 was the first and probably the best ever satire programme on TV.

I'll always thank my grandmother for letting me stay up late on Saturday nights to watch it as a kid (when my parents were at the dogs).

Another slight family connection here in that, back in the 60's, my father sold a bungalow in Beccles, Norfolk to DF ( as a retirement home for his mother).

Yes I do, and he ate my hamster.
