Tony barkers funeral today… pitsea crem 12:30.. well known for being one of West Ham’s top boys back in the day tony spent a lot of time following Southend also… he was proper and if you knew him your know what I mean… hearing there will be a decent turnout from Southend fans today I just thought he deserved a mention on here… he was one of my good mates and always had his friends backs… RIP big man

Just picking the chaps up now sitting in Starbucks reminiscing about old Boozy barker … defffo left a mark on those who knew him more so on some ! The sort of guy you always assumed would be about , Southend and its glory days were better having Barker by our side.all very sad , A real hero to me and many more shall be missed TB x
