Robson and Rushden

Stewart Robson has only gone to R&D until the end of the season. Although he has been offered a longer contract he has not taken it yet.

There were some threads earlier in the week suggesting that the move was permanent.

Just thought I would clear that one up!

SS

PS Let's hope they beat Col Ewe on Saturday!!

Why would we want them to beat Col Ewe? If they go down it's another easy place to visit surely.

I remember the 3-0 defeat, where I got a penalty fare on the train, lost my glasses, and had to watch the pure embarassment of Graeme Jones practically ripping the ball out of Tes's hands in order to take a penalty, only for him to balls it up...

Not one of my more enjoyable away trips, it must be said...

If we are swapping them and Wycombe for Huddersfield and Doncaster all those further away teams I'd do it. **** easy to get to.

P.S. Rawle putting it over the bar for the follow up!

On the other hand though remember when we came back from 2-0 down at half-time and won 4-2 at home, and Searle's goal at Nene Park when we beat them 1-0!

so do I - knocking on the door of the 'Spread Eagle' in Irthlingborough at noon to find the Landlord spectacularly hungover and reluctant to let 15 or so Shrimpers in...........

and going ape when Damon scored!
