2 or 3 bidders were never officially confirmed, it could've been 3 the whole entire time.

If I was bidding and was a different bidder than the known consortium, I'd definitely be making myself known at this point, by leak or otherwise, to try and get us fans not just getting excited about my competitor. Strange nobody else is rearing their head at this point

Because there is a fan base completely fed up with the current owner that getting us onside should be top of any new owners agenda. Its not a case of doing your business in public it's PR. Look at the bidders for Man Utd currently. Nobody is saying anything of substance but we know who the main runners are

I had the same feeling, i actually said to my son i reckon only one bid and RM is trying to push the price up by saying 2 offers in

Maybe that became known before the NDA was signed, it did say in the statement about speculation.

If you have signed one and then a leak happens or you out rightly say you are would it mean you couldn't be trusted as you cannot honour a NDA

Perhaps, most of the ITK’s have said there’s been two interested parties not three. Who knows what the truth is, I just hope his gone quick smart before it impacts negatively on next season.

You'd hope people want this sorted by next week, so players can be retained and plans can be made properly for next season

Not always the case. They could be directors of other companies which would have knock on effects if they were known to be interested in buying a football club and may not want to disclose that info to that company until its further down the line.

Assuming he is being low balled. He could of course have received an offer at or even a little over his asking price.

It is, didnt say it wasnt, but could also push the bidder / bidders away if they think the price is too high without the stadium or training ground included (if they are not as per initial reports)

Indeed.

But experience suggests it's least likely to be anything coming from Ron.
