Hockley now on loan to Rayleigh
Confirmed Essex, Southend and Thurrock will be under tier 2 restrictions

What does Tier 2 mean?

Pubs and bars must close unless operating as restaurants, and hospitality venues can only serve alcohol with substantial meals

Last orders at 10pm, close by 11pm

Elite sporting events, live performances and large business events can take place with 50% capacity, or 2,000 people outdoors/1,000 indoors (whichever is lower) - social distancing applies

1600 season ticket holders rejoice. 400 tickets up for grabs. 12th December v Scunthorpe

Not sure how they are going to work the remaining no season ticket tickets. Wonder if they will offer them up as a half season ticket sales?

Also what about the Season Ticket holders that do not want to attend. Quite a few on here have said they won't be going. So maybe some sort of scheme to resell their tickets?

First come first serve each game I'd guess?

This is Robbie Cowlings comments on this today, but it was published before the tiers were announced meaning his hopes of a tier 1 for Colchester has been dashed. We do have very low infection rates in Colchester, ( The sheep dip stations have helped a lot) but other areas of Essex are 2-3 times higher and we have all been put into the same tier. Note the caution for our 1st home game where Robbie is limiting attendance to 1000 fans. Luckily we have less than that number as season ticket holders, so all people who bought up front will get the chance to attend. We sold a lot less season tickets this year because I think fans guessed what was going to happen. https://www.cu-fc.com/news/2020/november/club-statement2/
