Just checked the total home attendance for the 2004/2005 season including cup and there has been 170,653 people that have come to Roots Hall to watch the mighty Shrimpers compared to 147,255 from last season (and we played 3 mores home games last season). The club must have made well over Two million pounds in gate receipts this season which is really good. Lets just hope all these extra fans still come next season what ever happens on Saturday!

Absolutely. And we must be well on course for an operating profit this year - lets hope we can pay down a bit of the debt or strengthen the team a bit to have a real go next year regardless of which division we're in...

The books must be looking a lot better with the:

Increase in gate receipts;
Two trips too Cardiff (This includes Saturday);
Sky TV;
Southend United Merchandise;

There would have been even better profits if Uncle Vic had still been at the healm with the dodgy attendence figures.

Is that before or after his £150,000 salary and consultancy fees, the money he earned from copywriting his version of the SUFC badge and the royalties he earned from the club from that, and the countless hundreds of thousands he spent on litigation?

As we haven't had the accounts for the Financial Year Ending July 31st 2003, I can't see us finding out how this season has been worth for a while yet.

Altough, unless someone gets a bit of a move on we could be spending some on a late accounts fine....
