Reading the fantastic book Red Card Roy and was thinking would make an excellent film but who could play Roy??

Read this book really quickly which leads to me think it's a great book, although I don't agree with Roy's assessment of Richard Cadette's footballing ability.

I was thinking a young Warren Clarke - but he doesn't have Roy's looks.

Ray Winston would be another obvious choice when younger - but still didn't have the looks or manner.

Perhaps Sean Bean might fancy having a crack at the role?

Orlando Bloom playing a hard man?

Roy spoke exactly as I thought he would, honest, forthright and straight talking.
Well worth listening to.

Southend United legend Roy McDonough will be back in town for a special one-off evening show with TalkSPORT's Paul Hawksbee and special guests after the Burton game on Monday, April 22, at the Palace Theatre, in Westcliff. Tickets go on sale soon...???????????⚽
