Surely it's plain to see?
One of things I do on the Drivetime Show (87.7 Gateway FM) is the travel updates and I've just received this from c2c.

"bad news on the Fenchurch Street line. All routes are being disrupted due to signalling problems between Barking and London Fenchurch Street. Engineers are working as fast as possible to restore services to normal. Reduced train capacities, short notice alterations, cancellations and delays of up to 40 minutes can be expected. c2c tickets will be accepted on the Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria line as well as London Underground on all reasonable routes."

Perhaps renationalising them isn't such a bad idea after all. Anyway, safe journey home chaps and chapesses.

That's what you get powering your signals with kit from the 1960's that's held together with sticky tape.

My train was 5 mins late at Limehouse.. It positivly rattled along trying to make up lost time.. It was also the most pleasent and quietest journey I have ever had.. Not one arsehole in the entire carriage.
