Ryan Hall

Hall could have been a regular for a Championship, he was a genuine talent. But he was also an absolute peanut off the pitch.

Played his first 90 minutes of the season today for ....... Bromley. I think he had a bad knee injury at the end of last season.

Signed for Merstham in the Isthmian Premier League.

Still only 29 and will be playing the likes of Billericay Town, Thurrock and Harlow Town. How the mighty have fallen.

He missed most of last year after having an operation on his knee. I think it is more like he can not get fit enough to play at a higher standard.

It's hard to believe he was ever such a good player when it was with us...

I don't think he was that good, we were just a bad team. Looking back and the quality we have now, would you have him back? I shouldn't ask, I think I know your answer to that :nope:

That's a fair point. He may have been the best of a bunch that was cobbled together, but he still scored goals took on defenders and brought excitement. Imagine how bad we wouldn't been without that?

I wouldn't have him in the team now, but our squad has changed and improved significantly. I'll be bold and say he would've been useful in our first season in League One. Worrall on the right, Hall on the left.

Oh he was good, and one of our few stand out players at the time. We have moved onwards and upwards since, but that doesnt take away that he was one of the few talented players we had in the Sturrock era.
