Sacked Managers 2018/19

If the Cowley brothers are offered the Brentford job can't see them turning it down as chance to manage at higher level more local to them and a larger wage.General all round step up from Lincoln City

I hope they do get it, don’t like Lincoln and hope we don’t have to play against a Cowley team.

For Brentford; and their loyal fans it is very awkward; they have invested a lot in Smith and his team and the compensation/fee paid by AVFC will not be adequate. Surely the FA ought to consider a "transfer" window on managers to stop this type of financial "shoulder climbing" over smaller clubs & limit it all, so the clubs have to take their own planning and continuity of management into line with other business ideas. Nothing to stop them signing up out of work persons.

Problem with that is then people like Alan Pardew will continue to get work! The same old names will end up getting jobs. He’s done well at Brentford and move to a ‘bigger’ club.

Paul Hurst sacked from Ipswich, after less than 5 months & just 1 win in 14 games.

Early days, but currently sitting bottom of the league & looks like they could well be our next big scalps next season, if we don't make promotion. Personally I always liked the atmosphere at Portman Road.

Mick McCarthy right now.....

And they’ve replaced him with Paul Lambert

Not so much sacked, as in hired. Former Arsenal & Tottenham defender Sol Campbell takes up the reins at bottom of league 2 Macclesfield Town.

Finally, it will keep him quiet about how he gets ‘overlooked’ for jobs.

Not sacked exactly (yet) but it sounds like the writing is on the wall for Sam Ricketts, as he's been told to stay away from his current club Wrexham for their Fa cup clash, due to being strongly linked with the vacant Shrewsbury job.

Give Mark Hughes a couple of months and he will pop up somewhere else .

Hughes is one of them people, like Steve Bruce; not. for me. a good or worthy person. Full of himself.

Never had any time for him after he walked out on Fulham as a manger. As a player he couldn't trap a ball and looked poor whenever I saw him play for Barça.

Disagree about SB.Always liked him as a player (more for Gills than MU ) and as a manager too.

Hughes record, of late, Stoke apart, is diabolically bad.

Darrell Clarke and his assistant have left Bristol Rovers

And a certain Graham Coughlan takes over for now.
