Great choice.

He's a serious talent as a batsman - his last innings for England was 87 off 47 against West Indies - and as a captain after his work with K*nt.

With no Hales, Buttler, Stokes or Root for the T20 on this tour he's nailed on to play. Personally, I'd have him replace Root in this format, so Root can concentrate on the test team.
