Sam Dalby

Dalby's goal against Coventry is first up in these highlights. Well done Sam.

Well done Wrexham and Sam D. As we see on Saturday you cant beat an early cross with plenty of pace. They can even fool a keeper
Their 3rd was from a long throw as was their pen. Thats a great option that we refuse to use.

We use it when GSM is on the pitch.

I note the last couple of games that Bridge has inherited Fergusons long throw

We half use it but the players need to believe in it for it to really work. Same when Lenny used to take them. There was never a go to man for flick and no one attacking the 6yd box. They were in a neat little row, like a bus queue.

The Wrexham v Grimsby play-off semi is a great example of players making set pieces work.

Late on in our home game with Wrexham, Dakers did flick one one but Wreh was flat footed at back post. If he had been on the move and stole just a yard he would have scored.

Theres a lot to like about GSM and we should do better from his throws.

Just come on for Wrexham against Sheffield Utd in the FA Cup. Sheffield U now down to 10 men with the score tied at 2-2.

But misses a good chance to make it 4-2 then Sheffield United equalise in stoppage time through Egan.

If that. was worth a red card, any refereeing consistency yesterday would have seen Beastleigh reduced to 4 men.

Exactly this. More down to Tozer making a meal of nothing to get Jebbison sent off. Wrexham are just like Bromley, Eastleigh etc

On a slightly different note, was anyone else getting sick and tired of the Wrexham love in? The TV was bad enough, but 5 live was unbelievable.

I was picking up a takeaway and missed injury time. It took 5Live about the entire 15 mins of my drive home before someone pointed out that they ought to give Sheff Utd credit for levelling it up.
