Sam Dalby

Thought the Wrexham floodlighting was substandard and as for that pitch, described in the pre-match blurb as being ‘one of the best‘ in the Natl, it was pretty ropey.

Good luck to them. Their supporters were superb in donating to the GoFundMe campaign and I don't begrudge a proper team like them having their moment in the limelight, even if it's with that dolt Parkinson in charge.
I'm not anti Wrexham, I'm anti the media fawning over them just because they have a couple of celebrity owners.

And to say all other NL teams would have crumbled is outrageous.

Didn't say you were anti-Wrexham anywhere in my post? Do correct me if I'm wrong.

As for the media fawning over them, it's pretty much par for the course when the worlds of sport and celebrity culture collide. And shoddy, inaccurate commentary is also the norm for anyone fed an exclusive diet of Premier League football, so it shouldn't really come as too much of a surprise.

No, I wasn't aiming that at you specifically, more clarifying what I said earlier as your post made me realise I hadn't been clear.

Sams doing well for a youngster, Good prospect, Did well in that cameo, which is what he seems to be getting

26 appearances, but nearly all as a sub, however compare and contrast with our season long loaner, that so many thought was excellent business, as hamstring Hyde continues with bis latest rehab, but he is now back on the grass after the latest 9 week lay off , following another hamstring going, but treat with care if signs of a plastic pitch or equivalent coming up

At least hes back on the subs bench

I had a bet with myself how long it would be before that gork Lineker uttered the word “Hollywood“ in his pre-match prattle. I won, of course, but even I didn’t think it would be in his first sentence. BBC ……Boring, Banal, Condescending. I have a far better acronym but you would probably ban me.

From the Wrexham forum...My Motm was once again Dalby. Brilliant finish again.

He's a quality player at this level as we saw ourselves and is young. Definitely has the potential to step up to league 1/2 in the future if he improves and keeps working hard.

Sam, along with his Wrexham team mates, have just flown into Southend Airport for their match away to Dagenham & Redbridge this evening.
