Sam Hart

Can’t believe people want him back. One of the things we most need to change is the losing mentality. Re-signing someone who was a big part of last year’s wretched run of form isn’t the going to be the way forward. He wasn’t even all that.

Yeah I’m not sure about the obsession with him. He didn’t look all that at the start and looked alright at the end but nothing special.

I think the big thing and excuse the pun but he played with a lot of heart. You could see that he cared and as fans, you want to see eleven players out there that are giving their all.

Some times that's enough to forego whatever shortcomings they may have.

We currently have zero players who are exciting to watch and he's exciting to watch.

We're crap, we're going down, I'd rather see some mazy runs and pace than the boring rubbish on the soccer field we've seen in most matches.

An improvement on Nathan Ralph though imho.

Most LBs are an improvement on NR but SC and HH may be able to improve NR’s defensive capabilities, like teaching him to stop the odd cross, so we may see a better player next season.

Liked Hart’s effort and attacking momentum and his defending certainly improved during his spell with us. Remember being incandescent when he was dropped for Hendrie at Rochdale in our ‘must win’ game last April.

Sorry that he hasn’t returned for another loan spell, which would also have freed up McLaughlin - ridiculous playing him at LB when we need to win games.

Unless Hart still hasn’t recovered properly from his injuries, our loss is the Shrews gain.

People the other day didn't want Hart back as he had had a few injuries recently and wouldn't be fit. Now Shrewsbury have took him on loan people want him here and Southend aren't doing enough to get players in. You couldn't make it up
