Niall Quinn has taken a look at Sunderlands drop in gates and aimed a dig at those fans who opt to watch the games in the pub.

A landlady in Portsmouth was fined by Sky for opting to use a foreign satellite feed which cost £800 per annum instead of Sky charging £600 a month with the added bonus of Saturday 3pm games being shown. She took her case to the European high court who ruled in favour of her. I notice most local pubs round here have started doing it as well.

Could be a real wake up call for Sky who have continued to hike prices over the years.

I thought there was a rule that a live broadcast of domestic football wasn't able to be shown on Saturday at 3pm (disregarding internet streams from foreign websites that seem to be a grey area at the moment).

Thats partly why Sky were trying to sue her into next week but so far the European High Courts have sided with her, Murdochs bung must not have reached them in time.
