I can only presume that the reason we can't move him on is that he's on a decent wage. There were certainly rumours a few months back that moves had broken down because we don't want to be paying his whole wage whilst he's playing for a team in the same division as us.

The thing about this supposed falling out is, that he's been at at least two of the youths' cup games, looking at ease with fellow players so clearly he is still involved on some level. I just wish Sturrock would give him a go in the 1st team.

Sturrock over Spencer every time. Sturrock, isn't the best we've ever had, but is certainly a bigger assett to the team than Spencer, who has looked out of his depth in reserve games, let alone the first team
