FFS ! I turned to the Echo last night to see pictures of kids at Santa's Grotto Lakeside. We've only just finished with the bloody fireworks - or not as the case currently is around my neck of the woods !! Whose bright idea was this and what parent in their right mind would take the kids this early ?

Bah humbug :( I was in Reading last week and Clinton cards in the high street there was festooned with Xmas decorations and dodgy seasonal music coming through their speaker system.

Next portly Santa I see I'm going to kick him in the nuts and whisper in his ear "there, not such a fukin cheery time of year is it, ****a"

And Lakeside miss out on an opportunity to make more money?

Christmas will soon clash with Easter.....its getting so early...how bizarre would that be!

Yes it is getting too early, but this year I don't feel it's been as bad as in previous years. Modern day Christmasses are the major focus of all retail operations, therefore it's simple to see why they gear themselves up for it as early as possible.

Even with my Scrooge-esque tendencies I'd say there's no issue with Xmas preparation from tomorrow Nov 15!

Get in, just been told the board are 'considering' closing the office on Xmas Eve (mainly due to the fact that several of them have to come in on the Liverpool Street line).

Festive cheer!

Ouch.
What job do you have to do that requires such hardships as that?!?

One in IT......

The job where minor things like personal life and 9-5 are removed early on in a career. Later on, things like relationships are removed aswell.

Its like being turned very slowly into a Borg.
