Question Serious question?

Please no fun taking this is a serious question,
I was chatting to a friend who is a private banker in Dubaii,i started talking about my beloved team SUFC, and how its broke and all the potential i belive it has,i spoke about the new stadium we hoping to get ,but how due to lack of funds it looks like it will be only a 3 sided stadium. I also spoke about how we got to Wembley last season and 32000 fans went to support them,my friend asked me to make a report out about the club and how much it would take to buy out the present owner, also the fourth and main stand what it was going to be , i told my friend it was supposed to be a Hotel and im believe a casino but they have no money for it
I have been asked to do a report on the club , staing what money and its potential and history.My friend is a private banker for many years and clients are Shieks, my friend says if i can make a good dossier she will present ti to them.I hope im not over stepping the mark here ,but many times its been discussed about what it would take to buy the present owner out,well if my riend is genuine and i believe so ,then just maybe something may come of this
.Anyway i would like if possible some imput into this from anyone who cares to help me

First thing I would do is get a spell check on your PC. That report would look very bad if it looks any thing like this post.
Next thing I would do is make an appointment with your GP. He should be able to prescribe some medication that may help.

I don't know why people are taking the ****.They clearly have no idea on how big business is conducted or the role of a private banker. How do people think these things work?

I agree it is unlikely to work, but I also recall posts stating Freddie, barney, Harris,brown, wembley,fossets would never happen (5 out of 6 so far) so who knows.

I would write the following.

dear mate my club are skint and need a billion knicker to sort it right out you can tell your banker mates( no sniggering)they can build big hotel and sell food.They can buy many players who can make the team play good when my club gets the billion we can play in the prem coz we will have good players and a nice stadium with a smart hotel selling food.the foset farm stadium can hold lots of people and did I mention the hotel will be selling food.the billion quid may get Alex fergie and he is very good and we can do good.the new stadium will sell food and stuff and we will be ok.the hotel will be very big and did I mention it will sell food.i no it's hard asking you fr this money but you gotta realise I have done my research and the money you make on the hotel selling food will be very good just think about it when we are in the prem with 22000 fans they will all want food.

The best bit you could do is say to your mate that it will probably take £200-300m AT LEAST to prize it away from Ron's grip at this stage and if he's interested let him contact RM direct. If Ron's then interested let him provide the dossier.

Hi buffalowolf,
I'm sure that your discussions with your pal are serious & well meant. However any investment business should be able to carry out their own research & be able to obtain any vital info they need themselves - any report prepared by you, me or any other devoted fan will not be either acuurate or complete as we are not privy to all the information.
If your contact became interested in making an investment then they would be able to contact the right people to start any negotiations.

Smiffy usually has a lot of facts on this. Step one would be to get hold of the auditor's report then you'll need to collate a lot of the figures that have been floating around.

£80m - investment from Sainsburys
£7m - debt to Martin Dawn (confirmed probably more like £11/12m)
£15m - loss of future revenues for Ron (Fossett's farm is his nest egg)

Realistically, you are never going to be able to obtain sufficient information without total involvement from the Club, or more specifically, Ron Martin. That said, I admire your attempts at kicking this off, but as you can see from some of the replies, constructive responses are a bit thin on the ground. Don't take it too personally.

My friend has been a private banker to these people there for 15 years , lives in Dubaii and ask me to try to make a presentation which she could present to them, It seems from many of you that your happy with mediocrity, as for myself i was always taught ,you have nothing to lose by trying,some of you should get off you fat asses i think and try also.Stop dreaming and moaning about the plight of the club and at least attempt to try to get it back on solid ground , stop moaning about the new stadium only having 3 sides , These people i believe would find it very attractive having a main stand with a hotel, shops and casino if possible.I rest my case and have sent her what i have been able .Ill rest easy knowing at least ive tried.

Some strange figures being banded about. I would expect RM to walk away very quickly if he ever received an offer that would both, clear the financial mess that's been created and give him a reasonable profit. I am sure it's one almighty headache.

Possibly, 10 million to clear the Sainbury's monies Ron's liable for and 5 million for Ron?

The investor would then need the money to build the rest of the stadium and fund S.U.F.C. Just guessing, maybe another 30 million?
