They've lost to Millwall and Crewe in their last two league games, and were beaten by Fleetwood on pens in the JPT, so it's definitely a winnable game. Can see this being a typical Brown performance of playing for a 0-0 and hoping for a bit of luck to give us a 1-0 victory. Personally think we'll do very well to come away with anything given the current injuries and suspensions but you never know!
6 of those who started last night have to start again on Saturday to comply with the JPT competition rules, which could help with a few decisions. Tims is back after suspension.
I'd go:
Bentley,
White, Bolger, Barrett, Coker,
Worrall, Atkinson, Leonard, Timlin,
Mooney, Pigott
Subs: T. Smith, Rea (if these two are back?), O'Neill, Prosser/Thompson, Hurst, Payne, Williams
I know Brown usually doesn't change a back line after a clean sheet but by the sounds of it that was more down to Dan with the defence, and two games of 90 minutes in 4 days is a big ask for two centre backs coming back from injury, particularly after how long Thompson was out and him apparently looking a bit rusty to start with last night.
Could easily say that Hurst did more to warrant his place than Atkinson by the sounds of it but I can't see Brown playing two wingers at Brammall Lane.
Obviously we don't know whether Weston will be fit, but would have him on the bench in place of Prosser/Thompson if he is. Other than that, you're looking to Paul Smith and the under 21s to fill the bench. :'(
