In a world of my own.
Last night we had out works office party. Our boss is not flash but he always throws a good bash and last nights was no exception. We went to the Box Wood which is so I am told Gordon Ramseys flag ship restraunt.

There was five blokes and three birds all that I work with present. The girls ****ed me off before we had even left the office by refusing to get the tube and demmanding that out boss pay for a taxi.

Anyway they proceeded to get plastered beyond belief on minimal alchol. One of em kept on using her bloody mobile phone and had to go outside to smoke, another kept telling us about sex acts her and her husband get up to (She is a pig so this is not nice) and the third kept ordering more and more stuff that she had no chance of eating.

The lads drunk the same yet all 5 of us managed to be sensible.

The night before Mrs DtS was out with work mates and got drunk and ended up talking a load of bollox all night too.

Everytime I have been out of late women not being able to drink has been a pain. Even on the train home last night I had to sit opposite some woman blubbering about her work to a friend and repeating herself all the time.

This had lead me to think that women should be limited to one drink per night unless accompanied by a man. I am sorry if this sounds sexist but I just dont think they can handle booze?

Thoughts please?

How would I ever get a sh@g if not for drunken women, so yes. Absolutely. All the time :D

Voted let them drink, despite a very hammered Mrs GlasgowSUFC returning home particularly worse for wear last night from her works Xmas lunch! Then moaning at me at 1am when she came too (I had to put her to bed when she got in at 9)

I share your pain. My missus went out for her works do last Saturday and kept on phoning me up at all hours - apparently it's the law that you have to shout down the mobile phone after a load of booze rather than speak normally. Anyway she finally turns up at about 3am, trying to be extra quiet but actually making slightly more noise than a bull in a china shop. I help her into the spare bed and, after fighting off her drunken advances, leave her to sleep it off!

Stick 'em to a one drink limit and make 'em drive!

I was at the Casino last night, and some bird sitting next to me had obviously been on it all day, and she was a right pain in the **** ! As Moneypit says 1 drink only.

Obviously the above would not be true if I was single :)

They should provide us all with ear plugs so we don't have to listen to them keep on repeating themselves all the time...

Reducing the amount they can drink would also cause other benefits :-
1. Lower household / credit card bills
2. Fewer trips to the bottle bank (when do women ever go !!)
3. Increases the chances of getting a nice breakfast served in the morning
4. Less snoring
5. Less vomit to clear up
6. Fewer trips to a crowded bar as I can carry my drinks in each hand.

;-)

I quite often have to help my female housemates home after they have had one to many WKD blue, not alot of fun really and usually the very slow walk home sobers me up so if I go back out I then have to spend more to get myself back to the level of drunkeness I was already at. They obviously don't think how this affects my wallet, and they quite often cry about something or other, what is that about?

They want some Alexis sausage and you're not providing?

I still remember a train journey where this bird phoned her mum and several friends in tears because she was so upset. Reason for being upset - giving her boss a blow job, and now worrying he won't respect her!! Made me chuckle!

We're here all week folks.
