Southend welcome back defender Che Wilson from suspension and Shaun Goater could be on the bench after a lengthy lay-off with a dislocated collar bone.
On-loan Nigerian defender Efe Sodje is set to make his home debut but Carl Pettefer (head injury) misses out.

Brentford quartet Kevin O'Connor, Paul Brooker, Andrew Frampton and Marcus Gayle should all be fit to retain their places in the Bees squad.

Jay Tabb (foot) is doubtful but boss Martin Allen has no other problems.

Or are the BBC as up thir own arses as Sky who really cannot see past the pigs trough of greed that is the Prem?

Don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but Efe Sodje's brother, Sam, is likely to be playing for Brentford this afternoon - he was their player of the year last season.

I think he is out, after picking up 5 bookings!
