Before all the teams go off for the summer break this is a date to get in your diaries for the next pre-season.
This Summer once again ShrimperZone Football Club will be holding an 11 a-side tournament at Cupids in Wakering on Sunday the 14th of August. We normally end up with about 16 teams.
This will be the 3rd year we have run this day for our lads and others teams to have a pre-season tournament and the past 2 years have been a huge success for all. Emu, Mark and Kev are always on hand for official stuff.
Entry prices per team will be announced soon but it is always close to £10 a player for the whole tournament.
We lay on a BBQ (Bacon Rolls for the early starters), staffed by the recently voted Page 3 girls of the year Tinks, her mother Sam (Southend Lady) and myself.
Cupids will have the licenced bar open most of the day. ( Children are allowed everywhere so bring them along.) This is very much a family day.
