That is, of course,a T-10, 1 zone card you're talking about.

Should you want to travel a little further out eg to see Espanyol play at Cornellà you would,of course,need a T-10,2 zones card.

Incidentally, while a 2 zone card will still cost you over 20 euros the 1 zone card was actually reduced to less than 10 euros on January 1st.

I used to work for Silver Ski (no it's not for old biddys!) who mainly work in la plagne but also the poncey, overrated 3 valleys too. Check out http://www.silverski.co.uk/special-offers/ but there are 10s of similar companies. Avoid la plagne during school holidays like the plague though! My fav resort is serre chevalier, a stay or at least visit to the beautiful old town in Briancon (1 of 5 I think villages) in serre che will score you millions of brownie points!
