Please tell me that was a joke!

Nope.

Most times I have been to the theater I have always had a nagging feeling that it is something that I am supposed to enjoy rather than something I actually enjoy.

The only stuff I really enjoyed was some am-dram stuff I watched with the kids.

Shakespeare's globe left me bored to tears and it was only the fact I could take a few cans in that got me through the experience.

Shakespeare is as boring as ****, that I grant you, but a real play by live actors is when you realise just how good some actors are, and others aren't.

Oh, and we're English, it's "theatre", not "theater".

:Winking:

I've seen some amazing plays. His Dark Materials for example, all 6 hours of it, stunning. The Curious Dog.... fantastic.

But I'll grant you Shakespeare is deathly dull.
