Via satellite our reporter this evening is Tannis and in the SoL studio is Wino. In a joint SoL/Zone production.
Weather is fine and clearish with a slight breeze, Tuppy is about to tackle a Wakering fan from behind with his Stella Artois after comments of his ball control whilst punching the ball in the net.
Updates as and when Tannis can put his pints down.

Good work as ever Wino.

I'm guessing Foran is wide left, JCR wide-right and three up front.

This is one of the problems of having too many forwards: we're having to play silly formations to allow them to get match fitness. Whilst it is only pre-season and these games are mainly about recapturing sharpness, it doesn't help new players get adjusted to our 4-4-2 system.

looks like we need another big contribution form hathrickheroharrold

30 man brawl at half time. JCR and their number 4 involved at first then everyone piling in after but it was all handbags really.

Good news. Brawls are always a good sign. I take this as a bigger positive than beating Witham 8-1.

Please name and shame any who didn't get involved.

Gladly. YB
The incident after when the ref blew for half time, our reporter, Tannis (sponsored by Guiness) suggests JCR was caught late and heard something from their player (no4) and JCR retaliated. Clarky raced to his help from the bench followed by the rest of both subs benches.
On the game as a half Tannis reports that we're playing 3-4-3 formation and he had a word with Gower re the new face on the park. He replied he didn't know but Hunt and moose are finding it dificult playing along side him.
Other than that it's preseason fare really, along way awy from our comfortable 7-0 romp from last year.

7-0 last year and 2-1 down at half time this year, either we have got much worse, or they have improved big time

2ND Half ready to kick off with a few changes.
Tannis reports from his Guiness soaked reporter pad, the teams are..
Collis
Sir Adam of Barrett
Wilson
Black
Paynter
Gower
Maher
Harrold
Francis
Moussa
and Francis

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~GOALFLASH~~~~~~~~
Billy Paynter with a screamer. Recieving the ball and unleashing an 18 volley on the angle.
Great Wakering; 2 Southend United; 2
I'm trying to see if it's our Billy Paynter that scored this stunner.
