SoL Sports Special Live from Crawley Town

Tannis reports that the tackling has calmed down quite a bit now, a great run and cross from Gilbert to an unmarked Harrold who did head the ball but off target, Hoops was there in the right place at the right time to toe poke the ball into the roof of the net.
SUB
Bradders on for Harrold.
We're giving some verbal to their keeper one Ashliegh Bayes, formally of Borient and Grays.

Crawley Town : 0 Southend Uinted 1 Hoops
A lovely ball crossed by Gilbert was completly missed by Harrold only for Hoops to be at the back door to tap it home.
The best news about this is not the goal, but that we had 2 players in the box to start off with. A situation that happened so rarely last season it contributed hugely to our downfall.

Unfortunately, we risk situations like this when we play these sh*tty little teams at pre-season. The don't play football, they try to be macho and prove that they're good enough to beat League footballers, and end up kicking and beating the cr@p out of us. Praying that Stevie Hammell's injury isn't as bad as it sounds.

Its all become slightly immaterial as a game now, with most concern for the state of Hammells injury.

Hopefully, its not too serious although it sounds bad enough to suggest he wont feature for a few weeks at the very least. Oh dear......lets hope that if that is the case, Che takes his opportunity.

A Stunning through ball from Bradders of 40 yards was latched on too by Bailey who from 15/ 16 yards shot into the bottom left hand corner.
Correction for earlier sub.
Maher's still there Tannis reports.
Team still out there
Flavs
Che LB
Hunt RB
Sir Adam of Barrett
Liptak
JCR
Maher
Bailey
Hoops and Bradders.

The game is getting stretched being 10 men aside and the conditions but we still look like we want to walk the ball into the goal.
I guess it is only a freindly after all?

Their player ran at Che,cut inside him and shot passed. He scored with the ball hitting the bottom right hand side of Darryls goal.

Tannis reckons that Hoops and Bradders have to be the starting two up front against Borient as they DO seem to have an understanding with each other. Could it be another Goat and Peanut senario?

I would go for Hooper, Macdonald. As i don't think Bradders will last to many games this season so might as well get them to form a parnership early on instead of throwing Macca D in later on, when its come to the crunch.

I sense trouble, Especially if Wayne plays on the right wing next week

Tannis reports that from a some what hard first half we did what was required although he still thinks Che scares the life out of him at left back.Bradders looked surprisingly sharpe and lean as well as having a good understanding with Hoops. attendence of 548 half of that were Shrimpers?
In hindsight which is always 20-20 we shouldn't have played it, Even the team caoch over heated in the carpark.
