Bas shrimper reports that Gilbert has done everything asked of him ,the game with minutes left has been pretty flowing and a good work out for the team.Hoops has showed quality and has done something with the ball when he's had it and if he gets a rub of the green could be the player we all want him to be.

Dull as dish water.It was more like a testimonial than a match. Arnhem were good technically from the build up play from the back to the midfield but like Southend a couple of seasons ago, didn.t know what to do with it in the final third.
He was worried that on the stroke of full time Bailey seemed to collapse with his knee, something that he has a history of.
Bradbury and Hoops were the surprise of the evening and seemed to work very well together working as a team as opposed to MacDonald and Paynter, like two forwards on their own.
Gilbert was OK and he can see him getting very frustrated with JCR as when he runs the overlap, JCR always cuts inside.
Foran in the first half was Pretty good as well, he couldn't believe it was the same lazy player he's watched in other friendlies.
