Match day staff, that don’t need paying during the off season? If they have money problems & pay their staffs late, they wouldn’t advertise this?
Wouldn't they ?If they have money problems & pay their staffs late, they wouldn’t advertise this?
That could mean the exact opposite though, perhaps the vacancies are there because previous staff have left because they didn't get paid.If they have money problems & pay their staffs late, they wouldn’t advertise this?
No mention of salary. Salary to be Negotiated or Salary to be Unlikely ?That could mean the exact opposite though, perhaps the vacancies are there because previous staff have left because they didn't get paid.
It's national minium wage.No mention of salary. Salary to be Negotiated or Salary to be Unlikely ?
It’s surprisingly common for a certain type of employer to advertise vacancies that don’t at the moment exist. It’s used as a clear message to existing employees who are moaning about trivial matters - such as not being paid on time. “There are plenty more fish in the sea.”If they have money problems & pay their staffs late, they wouldn’t advertise this?
Staff not paid and been told unlikely to be paid next week. Possible new signings medicals cancelled last week. Staff disillusioned and leaving or trying to find new clubs. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
When, as Chairman, you tell your CEO that the budget is the same as last season, and the CEO asks "if we operate to that budget, can you continue putting money into the club so it can meet its financial obligations on time?" and you say "yes, of course", the CEO can only take you at face value but then the next time you prove that you in fact can't do that, these issues arise.I honestly thought we were set for a relatively stable and perhaps even bright period in our club's future. It would seem that one man has other ideas.....

In the scenario described above, the CEO is left in an unenviable position. He would realise that he can't sanction any further permanent additions to the payroll, and instruct his football department to focus on loans, or just do the best they can with what they have. When, as Chairman, you tell your CEO that the budget is the same as last season, and the CEO asks "if we operate to that budget, can you continue putting money into the club so it can meet its financial obligations on time?" and you say "yes, of course", the CEO can only take you at face value but then the next time you prove that you in fact can't do that, these issues arise.
