Looks like full steam ahead then.

Looks like another reason to cause delay to me...

Last chance saloon for the NIMBY's to put up a fight...

So these are the revised plans to take in the Casino and Health Club?

Looks like work won't be starting on August 1st then...

Look's like it.

What concerns me more, is there is now another opportunity for the NIMBY's to slow things up further...

I got one as well, addressed to "The Occupier" which I thought was strange as I know I've been on their mailing for previous stuff in connection with this.

It's a formality really, other than people having a bit of a moan, I'm quite confident that SOSBC will pass the changes no bother at all.

Yep, i too got the letter today, and as Smiffy says i really hope it doesn't give the NIMBYs a chance to galvanize their protests again (forcing another Public Enquiry  :'()

Quite interesting reading through the associated documents.

Gives a real feel for the enormity of the project.

Looks like a few decent bars and a balcony bar as well, all outside the stadium.

The bit that surprised me is they are projecting somewhere in the region of 1,200 employees!!

Not really when you think the Morrisons is approx the size as Waitrose from looking at this plans, then add to it the Casino, Hotel and all the other outlets. Very easy to hit that figure.

I like that we can now see what is planned for those units. Seems that there will be indoor pitches being built in one of the units. And that Morrision will have a cafe alongside other restaurant outlets.

I think it is fairly common for plans to change in large developments. In fact, I'd say it probably happens more often than not. The question is, are the plans being substantially down-graded to a more modest proposal?

Incidentally, as this was phase two it shouldn't be a barrier to work having started on August 1st.

From what I was told, RM expects to break ground sometime August/September. Where did 1st August come from?
