I think they call it progress..? They have let the old town go all over.

Luckily some of it has been replaced with for one, that fantastic Lego Monstrosity nearby which just about sums it all up.

That wants a fraud and corruption investigation, how the design and contract got approved needs serious investigation, the building has had flaws in build and design from day 1.

It was, SHSB relocated, IIRC, for the start of the school year starting September 1939. SHSB relocated/evacuated to Mansfield during WW2.

They were 'underground' toilets in the middle of that mini roundabout.

Apparently the old 99p shop on the corner at the high street and cliftown Road junction by the station is set to be opening with new owners.

Just walked through Victoria shopping centre and it is truly tragic.

A good 50% of units are unoccupied and there are buckets everywhere to collect water from the leaking roof.

The Star Wars themed advertising campaign will need to use more than The Force to revive this place.
