Just finished a book called 'I am the Gloryhunter', which is basically about a bloke who picks a team at the start of the season and changes sides each time the team he is supporting loses. Clearly Southend fell short of going the whole season without losing - though we went 5 games undefeated until we lost to Hull. So had Gloryhunter started with us which team would he have ended up with at the end of season??

25th August - Hull
12th September - Sunderland
19th September - Burnley
22nd September - Barnsley
26th September - QPR
3rd October - Swansea
28th November - Newcastle
23rd January - West Brom
21st February - Bristol City
6th March - Doncaster
23rd March - Newcastle
Finish

He would be a Newcastle fan according to my calculations ...

Good idea for a bet next season - start off with a team and see who ends season highest!
